Natural Treasures

...

This is the second semester project I did at AAU. The main theme was human-computer interaction, where we taught how to code for multimedia application and design UI for interaction. My group and I wanted to reduce stress where our research showed that a walk in nature could help reduce stress. So we design an Augmented Reality application for smartphones where we would give riddles for location.

This project was made in Unity, where it was simple to build for different mobile devices with different resolutions. additionally, this also had a local database where a hunt was saved with multiple riddle that would guide the player to hinted location. Once arrived at the hinted location, they would receive an 3D object where the riddle is engraved into.

This project I was the main developer, since I had the most experience with unity prior to this. It was an entertaining project to do since I had not worked with Augmented Reality or making application for a mobile device.
